An amateur rugby player has plans to embark on a one-man rugby tour to raise money for a men’s mental health support group.

Jake Doyle, 32, from Northampton, will play for a different rugby club every weekend for one match until 12 April to raise money for Man Cave UK, external.

Mr Doyle, who works as a personal adviser for young people leaving the care service, will undertake the challenge without any preparation or prior knowledge of the teams which he will join.

He added: “I’m trying to play for as many clubs in the county as possible. It’s just about turning up and having a bit of fun.”
