Mackenzie Carson and Sarah Bern, who are partners, say their relationship is put aside when rugby matches begin.
The prop forwards, who play for Gloucester-Hartpury and Bristol Bears respectively, will be playing against each other at the Premiership Women’s Rugby semi-final on Sunday.
Despite the rivalry, the couple are still able to joke around with one another.
