March 13 (Reuters) – Seru Uru’s late try earned the Queensland Reds a 33-28 victory over the Fijian Drua on Saturday to maintain their winning start to the Super Rugby Pacific season and ensure Brad Thorn’s team will face the table-topping ACT Brumbies with only a point separating the sides.
The Reds will renew their rivalry with the Brumbies on Friday with Dan McKellar’s side holding a slender lead at the summit after their 36-17 win over the Melbourne Rebels on Friday evening.
