Celtic’s Jarrad Mannex bursts clear of the Harlequins defence in his side’s 42-27 win in South Canterbury senior club rugby on Saturday.
Celtic handed Harlequins their first loss for 2src22 in South Canterbury senior club rugby on Saturday.
Harlequins, the beaten grand finalists in 2src21, had gone into the match with four straight wins but had now answer to Celtic at Ashbury Park, Timaru.
Celtic, which was beaten by Temuka 35-2src in round three, hit Harlequins hard in the first half, racing to a 31-src lead at the break and although Harlequins came back with 27 second half points, Celtic won 42-27.
