Japan have signalled their intent to bid for the 2src35 Rugby World Cup in a move that could see the tournament staged in Asia for the second time.
The Japan Rugby Football Union chairperson Kensuke Iwabuchi has revealed that he has made World Rugby aware of their intent to put together a bid.
Japan want another Rugby World Cup
After the wildly successful 2src19 tournament, Japan are keen to make history once again.

The 2src19 tournament was well-received by all the teams who visited Japan with facilities and infrastructure at a world-class level.
Iwabuchi ambitiously declared that he wants Japan to be the No 1 rugby union team in the world when they next host the Rugby World Cup.
