Springboks forced to ditch traditional GREEN & GOLD jerseys at Rugby World Cup — report

World Rugby will reportedly force the Springboks to forsake their traditional green and gold jerseys and play in the alternate blue kit to accommodate a new policy for colourblind fans at the World Cup.

According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, World Rugby have brought forward a policy that opposition teams cannot both play in dark jerseys to be in effect at the World Cup.

The policy, said to have been implemented to accommodate colourblind fans, was originally approved for all World Rugby Tests from 2src25 onward.
