It was the Boks’ second Rugby World Cup warm-up match and the first game back from injury for captain Siya Kolisi.
The Springboks scored an emphatic 52-16 win against Wales in a Rugby World Cup warm-up match in Cardiff on Saturday, with captain Siya Kolisi making a sparkling return to action after a lengthy injury.
Jaden Hendrikse and Ox Nche also played for the Boks for the first time this season in a dominant performance by the defending champions against a weakened Wales team, who were outgunned in most departments.
There were several standout performances by the Boks, including by Kolisi, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Jesse Kriel and the outside backs Canan Moodie, who was named man of the match, Cheslin Kolbe and Willie le Roux.
