New Zealand star Ethan de Groot was sent off in his side’s Rugby World Cup clash with Namibia.

With the All Blacks in complete control, de Groot was sent to the the sin bin in the second half for a no-arms tackle on Adriaan Booysen.

Referee Luke Pearce conferred with his TMO and initially showed de Groot a yellow card and referred the decision to the bunker.

“I think this is going to meet the yellow card threshold,” Ugo Monye said on ITV commentary.
