PARIS. – Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber said it’s nothing new for them to opt for a five-three bench split in a high-stakes game, with Sunday’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final being the biggest blue-chip game the Boks have played since the third British & Irish Lions series Test of 2021.
The Boks have gone for the five-three split for the third time in the tournament, but this Sunday will be the first time they do so against bigger opposition.
