Chloe Madeley’s love life from soap star romance to James Haskell marriage

Chloe Madeley and James Haskell have been together since 2014. The couple reportedly met on social media, and after dating for four years, finally tied the knot in 2018.

Fast forward eight years, and Chloe and James welcomed their first child together in August 2022 – a daughter called Bodhi.

Chloe, who is the daughter of daytime TV legends, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, previously revealed that she met James online. She said: “We met through Twitter. He looked at my profile.

“I was very happy being single and had no interest in anyone approaching me on Twitter. I did not know who he was but saw he had a blue tick so I thought he must be someone. Then I started messaging him.

The couple announced their engagement four years later, in April 2018. Chloe revealed to Hello that James got down on one knee and proposed to her in Paris, saying: “He kissed me on the forehead and said, ‘You do know how much I love you, don’t you? The last three and a half years have been the best years of my life.’

“I just thought he was being romantic because we were in Paris, so I replied: ‘Oh babe, that’s so sweet.’

“But then he added: ‘And you do know I want to marry you?’ and started to get down on one knee. At first I thought he was joking. I was speechless and stared at him in disbelief.”

James and Chloe got hitched at the All Saints church in Berkshire on December 15, 2018.

According to Chloe, they were inspired to have a traditional ceremony after attending the Royal wedding earlier that year.

She wore a gorgeous V-neck gown by Pronovias, with an embellished white lace top and elegant satin skirt and teamed the look with loose curls.

James donned a dapper navy suit with a grey checked waistcoat and festive red tie.
