It’s Wednesday – hump day. You sit at your desk, or on the construction site, pondering the ‘what if’s’ in life – what if you invested in crypto in the mid-2srcsrcsrcs, what if you stuck to your New Year’s resolution to go to the gym, or what if you packed your lunch instead of buying it?
But what if you decided to make a last-minute trip to Paris, to catch the behemoth Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and South Africa?
How much would it cost to make the trip, and could you actually do it?
The short answer is you still have time, but it will cost you.
Flights
Because of the short time frame, you’ll want to head straight to Paris. No dilly-dallying around Europe before the big game, unfortunately.
In case you failed high school geography, Aotearoa is on the other side of the world, meaning getting to Paris will involve a long travel time of between 27 and 32 hours, on at least two different flights.
The best time to leave would be, obviously, as early as possible.
But if you’re a daredevil, the latest departing flight you would be able to jump on, while still having time to get to the match, is the Air New Zealand flight at 11.src5am on Friday that will transit in Singapore for 7 hours, before arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 7.35am on Saturday (local time).
