Listening to Siya Kolisi’s post-match comments after the Springboks’ great escape to immortality, SA Rugby director of rugby Rassie Erasmus didn’t send his team out into the Rugby World Cup final with the usual fire and brimstone of “f**k them up physically!”
Instead, an exhausted, relieved and understandably proud Kolisi told SuperSport on the Stade de France touchline that Erasmus had reminded his team that nothing great had ever been achieved in ideal conditions.
