Former rugby player Stuart Hogg has shared a cryptic Instagram post just days after his wife gave birth and he was pictured at a spa with ex-jockey Leonna Mayor.
The retired Scotland full-back posted the quote: “Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being excited about what could go right.”
It comes after jockey Leonna Mayor shared a smiling selfie taken with Hogg at a spa.
It was posted some days after Hogg’s wife Gillian had given birth to her fourth child.
“The least Mondayest Monday ever,” Mayor, whose racing career ended due to an injury in 2013, captioned the photo.
The set of posts follow much speculation about Hogg’s relationship and his marriage.
Hogg announced his retirement from rugby before the Rugby World Cup in July, admitting to fans that he had “fought with everything” he had to make the tournament.
“My body has not been able to do the things I wanted and needed it to do. We knew this day would come eventually, I just never thought it would be this soon.”
He shares four children with his wife Gillian Smith: Archie, Olivia, George and Phoebe Anne. The pair married in 2016.
Mayor previously made headlines when she posed for an underwear shoot with Zoo magazine in 2013.
“I know the reasons I did it and I think they were the right reasons. It didn’t do anyone any harm and I don’t regret it,” she told the Racing Post in 2021
The sportswoman and pundit was named the ‘world’s sexiest jockey’ after the shoot.
“I didn’t get my boobs out and never would do that. I hope to have children in the future and there’s nothing they could find on the internet I would be ashamed of, nothing at all,” she said in the aftermath.
“I think because I’m a girl with a certain image I have to work harder. I still believe people look at someone like me and think, ‘There’s a bimbo’.
“I find it really offensive when people say I only get work on television because I’m pretty. It’s not like I’m just standing there in front of a camera doing nothing.
“We all know people who have got jobs for the wrong reasons. I’ve got jobs because I’ve worked hard, proved myself and made things happen.”
