The Webb Ellis Cup, fondly known as ‘Bill’, is safe and sound after a burglary took place at the SA Rugby Union (SARU) House in Platterkloof on Monday.
CCTV footage showed burglars breaking into SA Rugby’s offices in Cape Town and then leaving with several valuable items, including five signed Springbok jerseys.
Western Cape police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk confirmed that the burglars had also made off
