Ill-discipline cost the Bulls their final tour game of the United Rugby Championship (URC) against Scottish club side Edinburgh (31-23) on Friday in a match in which Jake White’s side finished a chaotic encounter two men short.

The Bulls had narrowly been in the lead (13-11) when captain and loose forward Marcell Coetzee was red-carded in the 42nd minute for a head-high tackle on Edinburgh prop Pierre Schoeman, with No 8 Cameron Hanekom following him off the field a minute later by being sin-binned for collapsing the maul.
