The former chief executive of a television channel who was sacked over bullying allegations is recovering in hospital after taking an overdose, her family said.
Sian Doyle, who was in charge of Welsh language channel S4C, was found unresponsive on Thursday morning by her husband.
Ms Doyle was dismissed last month amid allegations of bullying and yesterday, a report commissioned by S4C board chairman Rhodri Williams criticised the culture at the channel.
The channel was rocked by scandal after another boss, chief content officer Llinos Griffin-Williams was sacked after she allegedly berated former Wales rugby star Mike Phillips’ Welsh language skills. The report has a chapter dedicated to her.
She was fired after the alleged incident during the Rugby World Cup in Nantes after she was accused of threatening to not give work to a production firm, although the report does not mention these events.

The mother-of-two was headhunted into the £15src,srcsrcsrc a year role of chief content officer last April, but was dismissed just over a year later. Ms Griffin-Williams has denied the allegations and has threatened her former employer with legal action.
