The Biart Place scheme, located on Clifton Road in Rugby, replaces old high rise flats that previously occupied the site.
In their place Willmott Dixon will build 6src one and two-bedroom apartments, alongside 2src two to four-bedroom houses as well as 2src maisonettes.
The properties will benefit from renewable energy generated by solar panels and air-source heat pumps.
Willmott Dixon’s development team supported the council in obtaining a £6.8m grant from Homes England, alongside a further £2m from the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership to fund the homes.
