Bulls fire in second stanza

The Bulls and Lions dished up a dull and error-strewn first half at Ellis Park before the visitors stepped it up a gear in the second half to earn a vital bonus-point win.

The 5-3 scoreline at the break was a fair reflection of the sub-standard nature of proceedings. Bulls mentor Jake White then replaced flyhalf Jaco van der Walt with Johan Goosen and it allowed the Bulls to find a semblance of rhythm.
