The points were shared at Sandy Park after Exeter Chiefs and Harlequins played out a 19-19 draw in the Premiership Women’s Rugby competition. Both sides scored three tries in a contest that swung back and forth but it was Katie Buchanan who recovered a draw for the hosts. The result means Exeter are five points behind Saracens in second having played a game more, while Quins move up to fifth.

Exeter Chiefs missed the chance to close the gap on the top two in the Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby table after being held to a 19-19 draw at home to Harlequins.
The result means Chiefs remain third but are now nine points behind leaders Gloucester-Hartpury and five behind Saracens in second having played a game more.
Harlequins move above Loughborough Lightning into fifth on points difference.
