SA Rugby has named Philip Snyman as the new head coach of the Blitzboks, following a string of disappointing results in the HSBC SVNS series that sees them currently in seventh in the competition’s standings.

Snyman, who was the team’s assistant coach, takes over from Sandile Ngcobo, who to the role of coach to the next generation of sevens players.
