It’s official: cracking the code for squad rotation in European rugby remains very much elusive.

Leinster, the team so many counterparts have looked up to in terms of balancing workloads and results in order to try and win both the United Rugby Championship (URC) and European Champions Cup, proved they’re as fallible as anyone on a given day in suffering a 44-12 loss to the Lions at Ellis Park on Saturday.
