Gloucester coach George Skivington says wing Josh Hathaway has what it takes to become “a rock star” in rugby after a series of impressive performances for the Premiership side.

Showcasing his speed and finishing prowess on the wing, he has caught the eye with some fine solo efforts while he bagged a hat-trick of tries against Saracens last weekend.

Following the Immanuel Feyi-Waboso saga, it is unsurprising that Hathaway’s recent performances have sparked talk of a new Wales-England tug-of-war. While Skivington is keen to stress that the Welshman is still a work in progress, he has “all the credentials” to become a top-class player.
