Reunion weekends at Qonce’s Dale College have generally been quasi-sombre celebratory moments, but this weekend’s 163rd Founders celebration will be particularly poignant for Kaunda Ntunja’s wife, Aviwe.
One of Dale College’s two boarding houses, College House, will on Friday – ahead of the reunion hosting of East London rivals Selborne College – be renamed after Ntunja, who died of Covid-19 in July 2020.
