Despite being at the bottom of the log, the EP Queens displayed determination and resilience to secure a 15-10 win, with veteran flyhalf Zaza Nojoko shining by kicking five penalty goals.
In another fixture, the Sanlam Boland Dames showcased their dominance by scoring four second-half tries against Border Ladies, resulting in a 25-3 victory in Mthatha. The DHL Western Province also put up a stellar performance, defeating the Golden Lions Women 36-15 in Alberton, with Camelitha Malone standing out with two tries.
Over in the Women’s First Division, the SWD Eagirls continued their unbeaten streak with a resounding 84-0 win over Griffons Women in Welkom. The Valke Women suffered a narrow 27-24 defeat to Griquas Women in Kimberley, while the Pumas Women secured a tight 25-24 victory over Limpopo Blue Bulls Women in Bethal.
