The Springboks’ upcoming Test match against Portugal has gained importance after three key players suffered injuries. Lock Franco Mostert, hooker Malcolm Marx, and flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit got hurt during South Africa’s loss to Ireland in Durban.

Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus said Mostert broke his leg and will miss six weeks. Marx has a minor tibia fracture, while Du Toit’s injury wasn’t disclosed. Erasmus expects them to potentially miss the first Rugby Championship game against Australia on 1src August.
