The match officials and TV coverage for Round Five of the United Rugby Championship have been confirmed ahead of a weekend that sees the Stormers host Munster.

Two games take place on Friday as Scarlets host the Bulls and Ulster take on Ospreys, as Federico Vedovelli and Andrea Piardi referee those matches, respectively.

Saturday’s URC action kicks off with a lunchtime fixture between Zebre Parma and the in-form Lions, and Ben Connor (Wales) will be in the middle for that match.

Repeat of 2023 final

The focus then switches to Kings Park in Durban where the Sharks tackle reigning champions Glasgow Warriors, with Ireland’s Chris Busby in charge of that game.

A repeat of the 2022/23 United Rugby Championship final comes next as the Stormers host Munster in Cape Town and it is Mike Adamson (Scotland) refereeing that one, while South Africa’s Morne Ferreira is in the middle for the Edinburgh v Cardiff clash at Hive Stadium, which plays out at a similar time on Saturday evening.

The final two games of the round kick off at 19:35 local time in Ireland and Wales as Connacht host the unbeaten Leinster and Dragons take on a Benetton side fresh from a good win over the Sharks. Eoghan Cross (IRFU) referees the fixture in Galway while Peter Martin (IRFU) is the official in the middle at Rodney Parade.
