Joshua Brennan, son of former Ireland star Trevor Brennan, has been called into the France squad for the Autumn Nations Series.
Brennan Snr, who earned 13 caps for Ireland in a career that saw him line out for Leinster, was based in France during his years playing for Toulouse.
Two of his sons – the aforementioned Joshua as well as Daniel – were raised in France and now both are Top 14 regulars.

With Daniel, 26, plying his trade with Toulon, Josh has become a regular for his father’s former side Toulouse in recent years.
Born in Dublin, the younger Brennan was raised in the southern French city and has quickly stood out as a highly-capable rugby talent.
He joined Toulouse in 2020 and went on to represent France from under-16s up through to the under-20s.

The lock featured for France in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the U20 Six Nations and even skippered his country in the competition.
Brennan came off the bench in Toulouse’s Champions Cup triumph over Leinster in May and went on to claim the Top 14 title a month later.
The 22-year-old has now been included in Fabien Galthie’s 42-man squad for the Autumn internationals; featuring as one of the eight uncapped players in the selection.
The squad sees the return of Brennan’s Toulouse teammate Antoine Dupont into XVs international rugby after his switch to 7s earlier this year for the Olympics.
