Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, is gradually taking steps toward resuming her royal work that involves interaction with the public after she has finished her chemotherapy treatment, a new report claimed.
The 42-year-old reached out to another photographer who is also facing illness, which was an incredibly heartwarming gesture on her part, Star Magazine reported. A rare and aggressive form of cancer was identified as the disease that Liz Hatton was diagnosed with in January, and she was given a prognosis of between six months and three years to survive.
She was invited to Windsor Castle to photograph an investiture ceremony after her mother urged her to create a “photography bucket list,” which became viral. The daughter, who was then 17 years old, took advantage of this opportunity, as per The Independent.
They were overjoyed when the teenager and her family were informed that Prince William would be stopping by for a brief visit. The teenager had traveled there with her family. But when Princess Kate was with him, she was utterly taken aback.
“All of a sudden, they just walk in and we were like, ‘Oh!’ I felt very honored,” Liz shared.
It was their shared passion for photography that brought her and the future queen together, The Daily Mail reported. Princess Kate and Prince William later described her as a “talented young photographer whose creativity and strength have inspired us both.”
While attending another royal engagement, a video of Princess Kate’s response to a daring question posed by a women’s rugby player went viral on TikTok.
The Princess was asked whether she would be willing to be raised up using a technique typically utilized in catching line-out throws; however, there was one challenge.
In a manner that is not typical for the royal family, hoisting a player into the air involves getting up close and personal with the player.
Because of this, the players had to ask Kate for permission to raise her by her rear, which caused the princess to burst out laughing. This took place at Twickenham Stadium, the home of England’s rugby team.
Once it was uploaded to TikTok, a video of the event quickly became quite popular. The on-screen caption suggested the player was “Warning Catherine that she had to touch her bum to do the lift.”
The women’s rugby player told the princess: “I just wanted to make you aware,” before adding: “I’m so sorry.”
Princess Kate burst out laughing. She then covered her face with her hands and pretended to be scared. Immediately after completing the lift, they all raised their arms.
This particular moment was one of several clips that a fan of Princess Kate combined and posted on TikTok. The piece became viral after being viewed 611 thousand times and liked 56 thousand times among users.
