Fitness influencer and TV personality Chloe Madeley was propositioned by a ‘squeaky-clean rugby legend’ according to her ex husband James Haskell.

The revelations were made in Haskell’s new book, with the former rugby star also alleging that another well-known player propositioned Chloe at the same party.

In the book, ‘The Good, The Bad and The Rugby’, the former British and Irish Lion details the encounter, but does not out the stars in question.

Fitness trainer Chloe began seeing Haskell in 2015, with the pair marrying three years later in 2018.

Splitting last year, the public-facing duo remain close friends as they co-parent their young daughter.

Co-authoring the new book with fellow former England international Mike Tindall and rugby presenter Alex Payne, Haskell wrote;

 ‘I recently had a call from a supposedly squeaky-clean rugby great who was getting up to all sorts of mischief in a notoriously hedonistic European capital.

‘But I wasn’t at all surprised, because the same guy had propositioned Chloe a few years earlier while I was DJ’ing a few feet away, and his teammate, another supposedly squeaky-clean rugby great’.

Again, without naming the accused, Haskell goes on to take a dig at the former rugby star, remarking how the image someone portrays in the media is not necessarily reflective of the person they are in the real world.

‘Of course, putting yourself about in the media doesn’t just allow you to portray your real self, it also means you can make yourself look a better person than you are’, Haskell wrote.

Haskell and Madeley are still waiting to make their divorce official over a year on from their separating.
