Portland, Ore. – Premier Rugby Sevens (PR7s) announced plans to broadcast the 2024 PR7s All-Star Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 17, on FS2 and the PR7s YouTube channel for fans in the United States.

Canadian and international audiences can tune in live through Rugby Pass TV. The live event begins at Providence Park in Portland, Ore., at 1 p.m. PT for attendees, and the broadcast will start at 2 p.m. PT.

Broadcast schedule (Pacific Time):

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. – FS2 (U.S.) and Rugby Pass TV (international, including Canada)

4:30 p.m. to 5:35 p.m. – PR7s YouTube (U.S.) and Rugby Pass TV (international, including Canada)

The historic event marks USA Rugby’s first competition on home soil since Paris. It also sets up a highly anticipated matchup between the silver medal-winning Canadian women and the bronze medal-winning USA women’s team. The U.S. and Canadian women, in addition to the U.S. men, will compete against their counterparts from the PR7s All-Stars, which features past Olympians, legends of the game, and other top players.

“Expanding the global reach of American rugby is central to our mission, and we’re thrilled to bring the PR7s All-Star Tournament to audiences around the world,” said Owen Scannell, CEO and founder of Premier Rugby Sevens. “The PR7s All-Star Tournament offers fans the chance to witness the energy and intensity of rugby sevens at its highest level. We look forward to connecting viewers with these extraordinary athletes and inspiring the next generation of rugby fans.”

The broadcast will showcase the fast-paced, high-scoring format unique to rugby sevens, with fans able to watch multiple 14-minute games in a dynamic, tournament-style event. The Olympic rugby matches this past summer captivated the world with sold-out crowds of 66,000+ fans in Paris. The USA Women’s rugby team secured a historic bronze medal, featuring 12 standout players from PR7s. It marked the first-ever Olympic medal for the United States in rugby sevens.

“This year’s PR7s All-Star Tournament is a must-watch, especially after the thrilling performances by the U.S. and Canadian teams in the Olympics,” said Tom Rendell, Head of Product at RugbyPass TV. “We’re excited to bring fans the chance to witness these elite athletes once again as they showcase the intensity and skill that make rugby sevens so captivating.”
