The tries were Barrett’s 38th and 39th in the famed black jersey and lifted the 30-year-old clear of the late, great Jonah Lomu and into a tie for sixth-place in the all-time New Zealand try-scorers list with Ben Smith.
With three Tests to come on the team’s northern hemisphere tour – against Italy, Ireland and France – Beauden Barrett, who became the 11th All Black to reach 100 Test caps, will be looking to close in on fifth-placed Jeff Wilson (44 tries) by the end of the year.
