Mullingar Rugby Football Club recently proudly hosted a mixed ability rugby blitz, welcoming teams from across Leinster for a day of skill, sportsmanship, and community spirit. The event, led by MRFC’s Lions, showcased the very best of rugby’s inclusivity and passion.
The Lions represented Mullingar with exceptional determination and teamwork, competing at a high level and flying the flag for rugby in the midlands. Their performance reflected the spirit of mixed ability rugby, where players of all abilities come together to enjoy the game and demonstrate what makes rugby such a unique and unifying sport.
The club grounds were buzzing with activity throughout the day, thanks to the incredible efforts of volunteers, supporters, and families. From cooking up delicious food to cheering from the sidelines, the Mullingar community once again showed its unwavering support for the club and its players.
MRFC would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who contributed to the success of the day. Events like this not only celebrate rugby but also highlight the inclusive and welcoming culture at the heart of Mullingar RFC.
