Rugby Australia chief executive Phil Waugh has signalled the governing body will need to secure more money from broadcast partners to hit an ambitious win rate target of 70 per cent within four years.
Mr Waugh and Rugby Australia chairman Dan Herbert have set out a range of bullish goals to meet by 2029, including beating the British and Irish Lions next year, finishing in the top four of the 2027 men’s World Cup and the women’s 2029 tournament, and winning the Bledisloe Cup every second year.
