“It’s football but not as you know it!”
That’s the message NFL legend turned ‘Rugby League Expert’ Rob Gronkowski is sending loud and clear to Americans in the sensational 30-second advertisement hitting TV screens in the USA to promote Las Vegas 2025.
Featuring an array of huge hits, spectacular acrobatic tries and even Reuben Garrick impersonating the Gronk Spike touchdown celebration, the commercial showcases the very best rugby league has to offer when the NRL returns to the sports entertainment capital of the world next March.
“No pads, no armour, no timeouts. The very best rugby league players from around the world collide in Las Vegas…. 8 teams, 4 games, that’s 1 epic ticket,” said Gronk, who has been an analyst with Fox Sports since 2019.
If Xavier Coates’ outrageous leap into the corner to snatch victory for the Storm isn’t enough to whet the appetite of American sporting fans then Jillaroos star Isabelle Kelly’s speed and power or Jason Taumalolo’s bell ringer on Leo Thompson is sure to have them on the edge of their seats.

Reuben Garrick Try – with a Gronk spike
“You feel that? That’s your off-season sorted,” the four-time Super Bowl champion exclaims as Sharks flyer Ronaldo Mulitalo produces an epic shot on Rooster Dom Young.
With two NRL mammoth games, a Super League clash and a women’s international all being played on the same day at Allegiant Stadium, fans both at the stadium and tuning in around the world are in for a treat… and the Gronk will be getting his fix of tribalism and terrifying collisions.
Nathan Cleary and Rob Gronkowksi have each won four championships – remarkably the Panthers gun has claimed his in successive years.
