All Blacks flyhalf Beauden Barrett scored a total of 14 points to help his side secure a hard-fought 29-11 win over Italy this morning.
Barrett converted a penalty kick at goal, converted 3 tries and scored a try of his own in the final minutes of the match.
The lead was exchanged a few times in the first half before the All Blacks raced away to a 17-6 lead at the break following a converted penalty kick by Barrett and two converted tries from Cam Roigard and Will Jordan.
Italy only managed to get two penalty kicks converted by flyhalf Paolo Garbisi before the break.
The All Blacks came back strongly in the second half and scored 2 more tries through Mark Tele’a and Barrett with the flyhalf adding only 1 conversion.
Italy managed to score a consolation unconverted try through Tommaso Menoncello which wrapped up the game.
Meanwhile, in other matches this morning, the Fiji Water Flying Fijians suffered a huge 52-17 loss to Ireland and Wales fell to their 12th consecutive loss after losing 45-12 to South Africa.
