A local rugby club has congratulated two of its top female players who competed among the best in the country over the weekend.
Creggs duo, Ivana Kiripati and Jemima Adams Verling, were involved in The Clovers v The Wolfhounds Celtic League game in Energia Park, Donnybrook, Dublin — the former being a selection of the best Connacht and Munster players.
Ivana made the scoresheet, getting in for a try with a powerful Clovers pack who dominated their game.
The Celtic League features two Irish teams, two Welsh and two Scottish teams, with home and away games played by each team.
The league is recognised as a huge boost for the players involved, coming into a Women’s World Cup in England in 2025, to show off their skills.
