School was not a good experience for me. I really struggled and had difficult experiences with teachers who just didn’t like me, and who maybe didn’t recognise that I wasn’t there yet in terms of maturity or ability.

I was picked on and I think I was a bit of a lost cause in some classes. When people give up on you, that’s something that never leaves you and you’re kind of scarred by it.
