Train operator Northern is offering local rugby league clubs the chance to win a host of valuable prizes including training equipment, match kit, and Magic Weekend and Grand Final 2025 tickets.

Northern is the sustainable travel partner of the Super League and is offering a branded rugby kit, rugby boots, corner flags and post guards.

All types of clubs are eligible to take part, including youth teams, senior groups, and community organisations, as well as those playing for local schools and colleges.

The closing date for entries to the competition is Friday, 4th April.

Northern ran a similar competition last year for amateur rugby league clubs, with the prizes including training equipment, match kit, and Betfred Super League tickets worth a total of £10,000.

In 2023, Northern donated new kit and equipment to grassroots rugby teams in Cheshire, East Yorkshire, Merseyside and West Yorkshire to help improve training provision for young players.

“Connecting with our communities is so important to us at Northern. We’re proud to support local rugby clubs in right across our network and this is a great opportunity for six of them to get kitted out like a Super League team.”
